Members of Dolphin Force Shadman Sector, who arrested criminal elements by taking timely action, called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today. The chief minister praised the personnel of Dolphin Force for arresting the criminals and appreciated their capabilities. He also gave commendatory certificates and cash prizes to the members of the dolphin force.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that the force has performed its duties efficiently and people expect such performance from this new entity.
Shehbaz Sharif urged the dolphin force to act as real protector of the people through their performance adding that the important responsibility of controlling the street crimes lies on their shoulders.
He said that Dolphin Force has been prepared after hard work and efforts adding that the force is not for any VIP but prepared for safeguarding life and property of common man and giving sense of protection to them about their life and property.
Addressing on the occasion, the inspector general police said that Dolphin Force has been given modern training in accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and this force is working hard for the elimination of street crime. Inspector General Police Mushtaq Sukhera, CCPO Lahore Capt.(r.) Amin Vains, DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf and SP Dolphin Force Syed Karar were also present on the occasion.
Dolphin Force members who met the chief minister included Shadman Sector Incharge Waqar Afzal, Waqas Safdar, Ashgar Ali, Sajid Majeed and Abdul Rehman.
During checking in the area of Shadman, Dolphin Force stopped three people riding on motorcycle, who tried to escape, but the dolphin force squad chased and arrested them. Weapons were also recovered from the criminals and they were handed over to police. The accused have also confessed to committing robberies.
