Student commits suicide after being refused to sit in exams as she staged a protest

A teenage girl from Balochistan’s Killa Saifullah district, committed suicide on Firday after she was suspended from sitting in intermediate examination as she led a protest against suspension of classes at her college owing to a shortage of female teachers.

According to local media, Principal Abida Ghous of Government Girls Degree College, Muslim Bagh, refused to send examination form of Saqiba and 12-other girls to the intermediate education board for staging a demonstration outside the Quetta Press Club in June 2015 demanding resumption of classes at their institution.

Shame that corrupt Pakistani politicians are sending their children abroad to gain higher education, while the children of Pakistani nation are committing suicide for lack of proper and basic education.
