Addressing a news conference in Dubai, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Qamar Zaman Kaira on Tuesday said that PPP will not make any coalition for upcoming by-polls.
A day after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) suggested making a coalition in Punjab against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for upcoming by-polls, the PPP leader said that the policy of reconciliation has already “damaged PPP badly” and they will not repeat this “mistake” in the upcoming local bodies (LB) elections in Punjab. The PPP needed to learn from its past, he added.
The former information minister said that “politics of resignations” in the country should not be promoted.
Kaira further said that allegations of supporting terrorism on PPP were not acceptable and they had never supported any means of terrorism.
