LoC violation: 2 killed, several injured in continued Indian shelling

Two people were killed in Sialkot sector while seven were injured in Charwa sector in continued shelling by Indian forces on Pakistan’s border areas on Monday.

A spokesman of the Punjab Rangers told Radio Pakistan that they had responded effectively and silenced the Indian guns.

Sources in the Rangers said the Indian troops went on wanton firing and shelling in Kasur sector on Sunday evening, injuring three men in Damala village.

Fearing for their lives, citizens in Sialkot and Narowal sectors have started evacuating the areas.

It has become routine for the Indian troops to start firing and shelling just after dusk, forcing the citizens to remain indoors. Villagers in Chaprar, Bajwat, Sajit Garh, Umranawali and Shakargarh sectors have borne the brunt of the Indian troops’ firing and shelling.

Sushilkumar Shinde:

Meanwhile, Indian Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Monday expressed concern over the repeated ceasefire violations from across the border, saying he would be visiting the area to assess the situation on ground.

“We have sufficient information that there has been an infiltration. This might be the result of decisions taken by the Indian government against militants in the past few years,” he told reporters.

According to the Indian media, Pakistan violated ceasefire several times in Ramgarh and Arnia sectors on Sunday night with heavy mortar and rocket shelling at 13 Indian posts and forward villages.

The Indian media said the Indian Border Security Force retaliated very effectively giving an equal response to the Pak Rangers. The heavy exchange of fire in Ramgarh continued till 3 am on Monday.

The attacks coincide with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s four-day visit to the US, where he hinted at seeking US intervention in resolving the Kashmir issue.

Pakistan needs to go on the diplomatic offensive, the foreign office is meek and silent while the Indian FO and their media keep churning out one sided lies blaming Pakistan for the trouble and painting Pakistan as the source of mischief.

Where is the voice of the Foreign Minister, ho come we dont hear any strong statements, India raises big hue and cry when their people die, and exaggerate their losses but Pakistan is mute…….why????

Give India a befiting reply, they have much more to lose, their economy will collapse as foreign investors will exit. Time to get very aggressive with Indian bullies and respond by upping the ante every time and not giving in.

I calculate, about 20-30 5 Kiloton Thermonuclear bombs dropped in strategic locations in India will lead to utter chaos and a break up of India, most targets should be Military but others like ports and commercial centers. Yes there will be retaliation but it can be absorbed as Pakistan offers fewer targets and both Iran and Afghanistan will not tolerate big Nuke hits because of the fallout that heads their way.

Any Indian retaliation will have no real consequences because Indias collapse will be certain.

Once India has been broken into smaller states, Pakistan can expand its territory to absorb parts of India including J&K and some other states, the world will make a lot of noise, but eventually things will be back to normal.
