The City received isolated rain on Saturday which lowered the mercury levels and turned the weather pleasant. The local met office forecasted partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thundershowers during the next 24 hours.
The day was sunny till 11 AM after which clouds clustered over many parts of the city and a cool breeze started blowing. Heavy rains were witnessed in several areas of Lahore including Shahdara, Shad Bagh, Lawrence Road, Shadman, and Garden Town. The rain started at about 12:30 PM and lasted for half-an-hour.

As per the synoptic situation, a seasonal low lies over Northeast Balochistan and its adjoining areas.
