At last but not least, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to establish state-of-the-art cinema hall at Pak-China Friendship Centre.
CDA has advertised tenders inviting firms for the exhibition of Bollywood and Hollywood films in the said centre for two days in a week i.e. on Saturday and Sunday.
It may be noted that Pak-China Friendship Centre was constructed at cost of Rs3 billion and comprises a gigantic auditorium, eight conference and three dancing halls. The auditorium supposed to be converted into state of the art cinema hall, has capacity to accommodate, more than 800 people.
When contacted, spokesperson for CDA, Ramzan Sajid confirmed to INP the development in this connection and said that CDA has been mulling over the establishment of modern cinema hall in Pak-China Friendship Centre
