Terrorists trying to make hideouts in Karachi: Sindh IG

Sindh Inspector General (IG) Fayyaz Leghari on Sunday said the attacks on police were the result of the ongoing war against terrorists in the city. Speaking to reporters after attending the funeral prayers of two CID policemen killed after being kidnapped and an ASI who was gunned down, Leghari said the police was continuously taking action in the west district. The Sindh IG informed the media that action was being taken against the terrorists’ who were trying to make hideouts in certain areas of Karachi, adding that it was essential to saving the city from the current unrest. “If we step back it will become difficult to save the city,” Leghari said.
