People getting too many threatening phone calls

Incidents of threatening phone calls have been on the rise as has been witnessed in cases registered under the Telegraph Act in various police stations of the federal capital.
The police said that over 20 cases of threatening calls had been lodged in the last seven days, most of which had happened due to illegal and unregistered SIMs available in the market.
According to details, three cases of similar nature had been registered in different police stations the other day.
In the first case, Zahid Ali from Sector G-5/1 had informed the Secretariat Police Station about threatening calls from a caller Hassan Kalor.
In another incident, Chaudhry Touqeer, a resident of Tarlai Kalan, lodged a case with Koral Police Station against an unknown caller.
