Democratic government gives top priority to merit: PM

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said the democratic government gives top priority to merit for improving governance.
Addressing the prize distribution ceremony of National Highway and Motorway police in Islamabad ‚ he said the laws should be implemented without discrimination.
The Prime Minister said law enforcement agencies will be equipped with the state of art equipment and the latest model of training to enable them fight crimes and terrorism effectively.
He said expressed the confidence that the law enforcement agencies will fulfill their responsibilities to protect the lives and property of the people.
Pervez Ashraf said the people will have to get united against terrorism which is threatening the society.
He directed National Highway and Motorway Police to take all the necessary measures to check over loading which is the main cause of the road accidents.
The Prime Minister announced to restore risk allowance for the personnel of National Highway and Motorway Police.
He also distributed certificates of appreciation among the officials.

    Yeah, yeah,yeah….if even 50% weightage was given to merit, our country would have been heaven than as hell today…..this gentleman is talking through his head….
