Aisam, Rojer lose to Indian duo in Paris Masters final

Bhopathi and Rohan Bopana defeated the Pakistan and Dutch pair of Aisamul Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Roger in the final of the Paris Masters on Sunday.
Earlier, Pakistani tennis star Aisam and Rojer beat Marin Cilic and Marcelo Melo in their doubles semi-final match of the series on Saturday.
Aisam and Rojer, who sealed their slot into the semifinals on November 1, grabbed a 6-0, 4-6, 9-11 victory in a match lasting one hour and 23 minutes. They lost the first set of the match, but came back to grab the win. Aisam will now face the his former doubles partner Rohan Bopanna in the final after the Indian fifth seed and his partner Mahesh Bhupatti beat the Polish combination of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski 6-7 (5) 6-3 10-4.
Aisam-Rojer now have a 31-21 match record this season, highlighted by two ATP World Tour titles. The Pakistani and Dutch duo had already sealed their place in ATP World Tour Finals last Thursday. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer also qualified for season-ending Barclays ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) World Tour finals after securing a quarter-final berth at the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris Bercy, France on 1st November. The Pakistani-Dutch junction high-spiritedly entered the ATP Masters 1000 event held in Paris. After triumphing over the Spanish-Serbian tandem, Feliciano Lopez and Nenad Zimonjic, in a three-set thriller in almost two hours, the in-form tandem secured the seventh spot in the circuit finale taking place in London.
