Rejecting the news reports regarding the ruling off of her case from the civil court, alleged wife of Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Ayesha Ahad Malik on Sunday stated that the next hearing of the case will take place on October 31.
Talking to agencies, she said that she would present all evidences and witnesses of the case before the court to prove that she was the wife of Hamza Shahbaz and claimed to go beyond all limits for getting justice in all of her cases.
“Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry should give me an opportunity for hearing my viewpoint in the Supreme Court as he has given to his son Dr. Arsalan Iftikhar and to the son of former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani”, she said.
She said that the session court of Lahore had issued an order one year ago for providing me with security, but the Inspector General of Punjab Police had not arranged her security due to pressure exerted by the ruling Sharif family, which according to he was a clear violation of the court’s order.
“The Punjab government and the Punjab Police will be responsible in case of any unpleasant incident”, she stated.
She said that the Punjab Police had registered a fake case of kidnapping for ransom against her and her daughter on the direction of the Punjab government, but her bail had been accepted in the case that showed that she was innocent.
While answering a query, she reposed full confidence in the independent judiciary and hoped that she would get justice from the court.
