Date for HEC indigenous scholarships extended

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has further extended the last date for receipt of applications for indigenous PhD fellowship for 5,000 scholars till August 17 (Friday).
The date has been extended on the request of candidates and their parents. The scholarships will be awarded for the academic year 2012-13 in all areas of studies/disciplines on the quota basis as per federal government quota policy approved by the government. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has asked the applicants who have submitted online forms under the scholarship scheme to fill the missing mandatory information within extended date so that their applications could be considered before the merit lists for the award of the scholarship were drawn. This is the last time applicants are being facilitated after the deadline expires. Any incomplete online applications will not be considered for further processing.
