Two injured in Karachi hand grenade attack

Two people were injured when the car they were traveling in was attacked by a hand grenade near the Gulberg Raheem Hospital in Karachi.
The attackers, riding a motorbike, threw a hand grenade at a car which on explosion injured the passengers. The car was also badly damaged in the blast.
A heavy police contingent reached the crime scene including DIG Naeem Akram Borkha who inspected the area.
The injured were identified as Salman Baloch and Rizwan and are said to be affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP).
According to media reports, the injured were shifted to a local hospital and are in a serious condition.
