Three-day celebrations to observe the 149th death anniversary of Hindus’ spiritual leader Baba Bakhandi Maharaj began in Sukkur, Sindh Monday. Members of the Hindu community have started thronging the temple of Baba Bakhandi Maharaj for the three-day event. The Hindu religious site is located in the middle of the Indus River in Sadhu Bela, a place situated in between Sukkur and Rohri. Boats have been arranged to take the visiting Hindu yatris to Sadhu Bela. Stalls of cold drinks and other food items have been set up around the temple.
