Rumours surface about PEF chief’s resignation

Rumours regarding resignation of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) Chairman Raja Anwar due to differences with the Punjab government surfaced on Wednesday, Pakistan Today has learnt.
Anwar had very close relations with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif but resigned due to emerging differences between them, sources said. Anwar and PEF Managing Director Ambreen Raza were not available for comments despite several attempts. PEF Public Relations Officer (PRO) Qudratullah rejected the news regarding the resignation and said that Anwar had a busy schedule ahead during which he had to attend various events. “I have just talked to Anwar,” the PRO said.
