Dozen held in Pak Colony search operation

The Pakistan Rangers arrested around a dozen suspects during a search operation in Pak Colony on Tuesday. The paramilitary force cordoned off the entry and exit points of the area and then started searching the houses. The Rangers also arrested an alleged target killer, Shahid alias Darinda, from Orangi Town Sector-10. The paramilitary force said that the arrested man has confessed to killing three people. Separately, the Crime Investigation Department of Sindh police arrested another alleged target killer, identified as Shah Anwar, from the SITE area. The arrested man was wanted by the police in several murder cases. The police also arrested three men from the Landhi area and recovered arms from their possession. Four drug peddlers were held in Mominabad and Faqir Colony The police was nabbed two alleged extortionists, Asif and Javed, in the Kharadar area.
MURDERS: An elderly man was shot dead in the Frontier Colony near Banaras within the limits of the SITE police station. Police said that two unidentified men intercepted a 50-year-old man named Mohammad Saeed and shot him. In another case, the police found the body of a man hidden in bushes in the jurisdiction of the Sukhan police station. There were multiple bullet wounds on the body and police are investigating the case.
