Mohsin sees great progress in Fast Track camp

Pakistan cricket chief selector Mohsin Hasan Khan believes that the PCB has been partially successful in removing the flaws of some players in the Fast Track Coaching Camp underway here at the National cricket Academy. Talking to journalists, Mohsin said that just seven days after the camp was organized, many technical flaws of players were removed. “The main aim of the camp is to make the players mentally strong so that do not get out after scoring 30 or 40 runs and instead go on to score a century,” he added.
The PCB started two Fast Track Coaching Programs for fast bowlers, all rounders, middle order batsmen and spinners at National Cricket Academy. The programme is run under the supervision of former fast-bowler Sarfaraz Nawaz and batsman Mohsin Khan and Ijaz Ahmed and later Abdul Qadir will train the spinners in the camp. “All the camp trainees are performing well and we hope good results,” he added. Moshin said that the results of the camp would come when the team plays international matches.
“The players’ performance could only be gauged in the matches and the results would come when they start playing series.” He further said that it was the right time to organise such a camp because there was no international activity that would have engaged the players.
