PESHAWAR – Acknowledging the Police department’s services in the war against militancy, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Saturday announced 50 percent raise in provincial police officials’ salaries. Addressing a ceremony held in Peshawar Police Line, Hoti commended police for its frontline role in fighting militancy and rendering unprecedented sacrifices in protecting the citizens.
