17 killed, 50 injured in Jamrud market blast

17 persons were killed while 50 others were injured in a bomb blast in Jamrud, Khyber Agency on Monday, a private TV channel reported.
The explosives were planted in a vehicle parked in a market.
The injured included men, women and children. The surrounding vehicles and buildings have also been reportedly damaged in the blast.
The injured were shifted to the Hayat Medical Complex.
The condition of the several persons is being reported critical by the hospital sources.
Security forces are investigating the blast.
