Dewatering pumps installed in rain-affected areas of Sukkur, relief goods distributed
KHAIRPUR - Acting Commissioner Sukkur Division Muhammad Abbas Baloch Sunday said that dewatering pumps had been installed in various rain-affected areas of Sukkur Division and relief items had also been distributed among the affected people. The commissioner said this while visiting different rain-affected areas of Ghotki, Sukkur and Khairpur District. He said that dewatering process of various schools had been completed in district Khairpur where only 20 schools were inundated.
He further said that dewatering pumping machines were being installed in rain affected areas of Ubaaro, Daharki of Ghotki district and also in different affected areas of Sukkur and Khairpur district. Managing Director SIDA, Deputy Commissioner Sukkur Bilal Ahmed Memon, Deputing Commissioner Ghotki Zahid Ali Abbasi and other concerned officials accompanied the acting commissioner Sukkur Division.
