Lawyers observe strike against sacrilegious film

LAHORE - Lawyers of the city on Monday boycotted judicial proceedings against an advertisement of a disrespectful movie produced in the US against Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
The Judicial Staff Association extended complete support for the strike by the lawyers, and they did not appear before the courts.
General body sessions were convened in bar council where condemnatory resolutions were adopted against the sacrilegious film as well as the Baldia Town and Lahore tragedies. The lawyers of Punjab Bar Council (PBC) marched through the city from LHC to PMG chowk wearing black arms bands. They chanted slogans against the US and others characters involved in advertisement of the disrespectful movie.
