Police fail to resolve mystery of body parts

RAWALPINDI - Despite the passage of two days police has failed to resolve the mystery of the recovery of body parts from the jurisdiction of various police stations of the garrison city.
It should be mentioned here that cut limbs (two legs and two arms) were recovered on Saturday from the jurisdiction of three police stations while a body of an unidentified person was also recovered on Sunday.
However, it was not yet confirmed whether the human remains were of a single person or of many. Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) city circle Malik Umar Hayat said that none of the three police stations had received a report regarding a missing person or a murder case, adding that the search for the remaining parts was undertaken by the investigation officers of the respective police stations. He said that identifying the person and finding the head and other body parts of the victim were their first priority.
Police was trying to trace whether the body parts were of local person or brought from another place where the deceased might had been killed.
