PCB decides to participate in ICC awards ceremony

KARACHI - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to participate in the International Cricket Council (ICC) awards ceremony.
According to media reports, Five players and two officials will participate in the ceremony although chairman PCB will not participate.
Previously, the PCB had announced to boycott the ceremony after off spinner Saeed Ajmal was omitted in the ICC awards.
The awards ceremony will be held in Colombo on September 15.
It is to be noted that Saeed Ajmal added another feather to his cap by becoming the top Twenty20 bowler in the world according to ICC T20 rankings list issued on Thursday. He is also ranked No 1 in the ODI ranking and No 3 in Test rankings.
