Nawaz hurls responsibility of fire incidents at Musharraf

Musharraf 6

LAHORE - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has thrown the blame of fire tragedies in Lahore and Karachi on his nemesis, former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf. Talking to reporters during his visit to the burnt factory in Lahore, he said the former military ruler had changed the Labor and Industries Act. He further said that the individuals responsible for fire incidents in Lahore and Karachi should be bought to justice. Nawaz said that it was binding upon the government to impose the Factory Act, adding that laws were already in place but needed to be strictly enforced.
Commenting on the 18-hour conflagration in the garments factory located in Baldia Town, Karachi, Nawaz said the incident was among one of the major fire tragedies of the world. “I will go to Karachi as well to visit the ill-fated factory,” he added. Nawaz said that apart from the factory owners, government officials were also responsible for the fire incidents. “We have announced a day of mourning for today,” he said. While talking about the fire incident in Lahore that killed 25 people, Nawaz said the trend of setting up factories in residential areas was not a recent one, but had been going on for the last 40-50 years. He said the government’s job was to prevent this trend, while announcing that the relevant officials in Punjab government would be held accountable for this negligence.

Nawaz Ganja Sharir was Gen. Zia ul Haq’s spiritual son. Now he disowns him. He was introduced into politics by Gen. Jilani in early 80′s. The latest statement from Ganja Sharir proves that he is a thankless person with no morals. During two stints in power as PM he looted the country and indulged in money laundering after May 1998 to prevent his foreign currency accounts being frozen. Then he ran away to Saudi and spent 7 comfortable years enjoying the hospitality of his hosts. The caliber of Nawaz Sharif can be gauged from the fact that without a script he can’t speak two sentences coherently; I am amazed at the level of Noora League politicians who consider Nawaz Sharif their leader.
