ISLAMABAD - Ali Musa Gilani decided to move the Supreme Court to obtain interim bail in the Ephedrine quota case on Wednesday, only hours after the SC granted pre-arrest bail to the other accused in the case, Minister for Textile Industries Makhdoom Shahabuddin, and issued a notice to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).
A private TV channel reported that Musa had also decided to file a plea in the SC seeking an interim bail. Shahabuddin had filed an appeal against rejection of his bail application by the Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench. A three-member bench of SC, led by Justice Nasirul Mulk, heard the appeal plea.
