ISLAMABAD - In order to vaccinate children below five years of age, Capital Development Authority (CDA) Health Directorate would immunise over 67,000 children against polio virus during four-day immunization campaign.
Under the arrangements, the federal capital has been divided in nine zones and 171 teams were formed in order to ensure provision of the polio vaccine to each and every child under the age of five.
Mobile teams would move door to door to ensure vaccination against polio virus.
CDA Health Directorate officials urged parents to join hands with vaccination staff and extend their support to make the four-day immunization campaign a success so as to save children from lifetime disability.
