People are with leftist forces. Even if PMLN and PTI and JI unite, they cannot win. People will never let H*A*R*A*M*I rightist forces like PMLN, PTI, JI or whatever to occupy this country again. They already done much destruction to Pakistan by Talibanization, Obscurantism, and sponsoring terrorist and sectarian forces. La hol wala, such wicked rightist forces like PMLN, PTI, or JI would never come to power.

When Pakistan today had published about this mr Qureshi had gone on tv and denied that report . Now he is going to address something that in his view does not even exist ? And is mr khan above this lowly isuue of addressing problems , he just is only to release statements about how America should run its policies ?

@Okdear ,After the collapse of USSR and China's pragmatic policy of economic liberalisation ,the left right divide in politics is not what it used to be.People don't care much about left or right politicspeople want jobs, education, health and law and order. On what basis are you claiming that people are with the left forces?.If you look around the world people have in fact become more right wing or nationalist and this includes Russia as well.In Pakistan the majority of voters don't know anyhing about party policies, voting is based on ethnicity, castes and bridaries.

There is a new definition of left. The people who emphasize personal freedom, oppose mullahism of Hafiz Saeed, Talibanization, monopoly by one province, and sectarianism, and peace with neighbouring countries are leftists. Those who support so called Talibanization of Afghanistan and Pakistan based on military concepts of strategic depth, those who refuse to accept people's choice of electing their govt, and desire to make Pakitan a theocratic state, support monopoly of Punjab, secretly sponsor sectarian killing, and oppose personal freedom are rightist forces.

PTI policies are tilted more towards right and PMLN and JI are extreme rightis forces who oppose women, shias, and secretly sponsor terrorist organizations, and sectarianism. Both PMLN and JI promote religious obsurantism, and PMLN is biased in favour of Punjab. Look at their daily statements. There seem to believe in defending interests of one province. PTI is a moderately rightist party and a little bit better than PMLN. PPP is centre of left party and though with many weaknesses is still a better party.

This guy talks about knowing what needs to be done to address the taliban issue and he cant even control his own party problems. He does not even have a clue that Pakistan can be facing much more serious attacks than the drone attacks he complains about if the govt does not start to take on the talibans. There are several failed/derailed states in the world but there is only one failed nuclear state! This fact can initiate a response from the civilized world that may come as a total shock to faith obsessed leaders/majority of pakistan but by the the time they would wake up it may be too late. West is not going to wait until the Nukes fall in the hands of fanatics. They have already proven that they cannot take assurances from an incompetent govt that their nukes are safe as the same govt and leaders were telling the world that OBL was not in pakistan and some were even telling them that he was dead. There are still people in Pakistan who may still be of the view that the whole abbotabad operation was a fantasy.

Definition of Pakistani Lefty: Hashish-smoking, backbencher usually failing in every school/college exam!! Keeps on grumbling about all those smarts around him who are making big time!! Hates to work hard and hates those who work hard!! If a bit intelligent (though never uses that intelligence for improving academic grades), ends up in some lousy debating society with all talk and no work!! Always has a grumbling pseudo-liberal dad who happens to be either a professor in a Public sector uni or a Public servant or got some benefit during any of the two corruption-fame eras of Bibi back in 90s!! Whole family always remains hell bent thinking about moving to UK or US with dad always talking about how lucky his younger brother was wen he moved to Manhattan back in 1974 yet always fails to move thanks to the sluggishness that prevails in every member of the family!! Hates going to mosque, school, office be it any institution of the society!! Remains very happy discussing half-cooked historical crap till late at night at cafes and friend’s places during “smoke-sessions”!! Usually tries hands on guitar once in life but fails miserably as once again only “Righties” like Junaid Jamshed, Ali Azmat and Salman Ahmed make it big even in music!! So much for being a lefty!! Major symptom: Considers Zardari some kind of a prophet!!. These pseudos damned Pakistan big time back in 1970 when they nationalized 8 private sector industries and ruined the Pakistani economy!! Further, these were the people who banned liquor clubs from Pakistan (1973), declared Ahmadies non-mulsims (1974) declared Friday a holiday (1975) in face initiated the same fundamentalism that we, the righties, are fighting today especially on the boarder frontiers!! And do not forget all THAT corruption guys!! Period: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was in Beverly Hills couple of months back to buy a 45 million USD villa!! Phir bhi Bhutto zinda hey!!
