NWA, Bajaur, Shabqadar residents celebrated Eid on Saturday

Even before Saudi Arabia and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa - people in North Waziristan, Bajaur agency and Shabqadar celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday.
People gathered in mosques and others open places to offer Eid prayers in these tribal areas, greeted each other and offered Eid wishes.
Earlier, a special meeting headed by Qari Muhammad Roman was held on Friday in a mosque at Miran Shah where the participants received six evidences from Miran Shah, Mir Ali and Haider Khail that they had sighted the Crescent after which an announcement was made that Eid will be celebrated on Saturday.
It is interesting to mention here that accept Waziristan Shawwal moon was not sighted anywhere in the world. Even in Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday and Shawwal moon was not sighted on Friday.
According to Met Office, there is no chance of Shawwal moon on Saturday too anywhere in Pakistan and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday.
