Thin attendance in workplaces before Eid

ISLAMABAD - With only two days left to Eid-ul-Fitr, thin attendance was observed in offices and educational institutions at the federal capital on the last working day (Friday).
A majority of people residing in Islamabad for business, job or education purposes have started leaving for their home towns to celebrate Eid with their relatives.
The capital becomes a deserted city on every Eid as most of its residents, hailing from different parts of the country, return to their hometown to have a good time with their loved ones.
“I left the capital on Thursday morning to celebrate Eid with my parents in Sindh and will return on August 22 (Wednesday) so I can join my studies from the next working day,” Ammar a student said, “The most amazing thing during my stay is to share the happiness of eid with my family, relatives and old friends there, he said.
Most of the employees in private and public sector departments take a week off before Eid and move to their home towns a little early as transport becomes unavailable at the last minute.
“I usually visit my hometown only on Eid due to a tough office routine and this time I got more holidays to spend some time with my parents,” Amir Shah, an employee said, “I left for my home town early on Friday, taking days off in continuation with Eid holidays, and will come back before the first working day after Eid”.

Dr Shakil Afridi spied for a foreign power. Friend or foe; ally or enemy, that is treason in every country in the world. He helped get OBL, ok but he still betrayed his homeland by spying for another nation. His actions humiliated his homeland, surely there was some other way to get OBL and save his home the humilation that followed from his actions. Let the US give him citizenship. If an American had spied on behalf of Pakistan and been caught, they would jail him.
