Doctors’ strike continued in Quetta

QUETTA - The emergency services Friday were closed down in all public hospitals of Balochistan province due to ongoing strike of doctors for the recovery of their fellow colleague Ghulam Rasool.
As per details, doctors across the province were observing strike in protest against the abduction of their fellow doctor Ghulam Rasool, who was kidnapped 17 days back.
Earlier, the doctors gave 48-hours to the government for the recovery of Dr Ghulam Rasool. After the deadline lapsed the doctors refused to work.
According to the PMA spokesman, the services of emergency in hospital will be closed until 08:00 am Saturday and if the government unable to locate Dr Rasool, the doctors will not work in emergency department on Eid as well.
