Police arrest37 accused in last 24 hours

KARACHI - The Karachi police in their on-going drive against criminals arrested 37 accused during the past 24 hours. A police statement on Thursday said that those arrested included eight absconders. There were six encounters with the police and as many gangs of alleged criminals were busted during the period. It said that 25 pistols/revolvers, one dagger and four mobile phones recovered from the possession of the accused, the police statement further pointed out.
Eid holidays in Liaquat University : The Registrar Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro Wednesday announced holidays from August 20 to 22 on account of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the clinical faculty members will perform emergency duty as per their duty roster, he added.
