HYDERABAD - Preparations to observe Jumat-ul-Wida, the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, falling today, have been completed by the people of Hyderabad. The big Jumma Congregations will be held in all principle mosques of Hyderabad City, Latifabad, Qasimabad and Hyderabad Rural Talukas including Jamaia Masjid Saddar, Masjid-e-Siddique Akbar, Masjid Aqsa, Masjid Abul Fazal and Faizan-e-Madina.
Annual grant of ATUP enhanced: The annual grant of Anjuman Taraqqi Urdu Pakistan (ATUP) has been enhanced to Rs 10 million. This was announced by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed on the occasion of 51st death anniversary of Baba-i-Urdu Molvi Abdul Haq on Thursday.
