Imran to address reservations of PTI leaders over attending Sheikh Rashid’s rally
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan will chair a meeting of party’s central executive committee to review situation emerging after he attended Sheikh Rashid’s rally in Rawalpindi.
Sources said that some party leaders have expressed reservations over his attendance of the rally.
The sources said that PTI’s vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi is unhappy over Khan’s alliance with Rashid and terms him as remnant of Musharraf.
They said Javed Hashmi, PTI’s president played key role in Khan-Rashid alliance.
They said that the meeting would also discuss formation of separate constitution for the PTI’s youth wing and overseas Pakistanis.
