Petition filed against alleged illegal appointments in IHC

ISLAMABAD - A petition challenging alleged illegal appointments in International Islamic University, Islamabad, has been filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The petitioner, Dr Hafiz Muhammad Bashir, has held the stance that the university administration has made appointments for the vacancies of Professor, assistant professor and lecturer totally ignoring merit.
According to the petitioner, this is sheer violation of Article 25 of the constitution as discrimination has been made while appointing the teachers on the posts advertised in June 2011.
