Rahat Fateh Ali Khan most favorite musician in Pakistan: Survey
ISLAMABAD - According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan tops as the most favorite male voice musician in Pakistan. Atif Aslam and Abrar ul Haq make top three.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Out of all the contemporary male singers, which one do you like the most?
Responding to this, 12% say that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is their favorite singer, 7% opt for Atif Aslam, 6% say Abrar ul Haq is their favorite singer, 5% opt for Jawad Ahmed and 5% opt for Ali Zafar, 4% say Sonu Nigam is their favorite, 3% for Shaman Ali, 2% for Shahzad Roy, 2% for Mehdi Hassan and 2% for Raheem Shah whereas 39% cite others as their favorite male singers. However, 7% say that no one is their favorite and 6% did not give a view.
