ANF submits report against Hanif Abbasi in Ephedrine case
RAWALPINDI - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Thursday submitted a report against PML-N legislator Hanif Abbasi before a division bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Registry. The report stated that Abbasi had obtained illegal quota of ephedrine, adding that a case had been registered against the MNA for his involvement in misuse of the controlled chemical. Responding to Abbasi’s petition filed in the court, the ANF stated that he was not being harassed, although, investigation was being carried out against him. Earlier on Monday, the ANF had registered a case against the legislator and his partner Zafar Bakhtawari, owners of Gray Pharmaceutical, for allegedly misusing 500 kilogrammes of ephedrine. Also on Monday, the bench had directed Textile Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin and Ali Musa Gilani, son of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, to cooperate with the investigation team of the ANF in connection with the scam. The court had warned both of them that if they did not cooperate, their interim bail would be canceled, subsequently leading to their arrest by the ANF.

Hanif Abbasi why did you withdraw the petition, why indeed? We thought that now you would force an apology from the AFN. On the contrary, you withdrew the damn petition whereas the ANF guy Investigation Officer Abid Zulfiqar is stating, actually insisting that you, Abbasi, obtained an illegal quota of 500 kilograms of Ephedrine. Didn’t anyone tel you that ‘Drug’ is a nasty thing to get entangled with and no one has any sympathies or guts to come forward and defend or protect a ‘drug’ peddler. Let’s see, how ANF handles your crime and what our courts have to say about you and your activities Mr. Clean Politician, as far as I am concerned, and hopefully many others, I want to see you frying in the 3rd class jail and be spared sound of your unpleasent shrills about / against everyone and his neighbors dogs.
last day i was watching him in a talk show, where he said that he is that kind of "MNA" who rides a vesspa and goes in the small streets of Pindi and helps people out with problems like ,calling SHO of the area to relase suspects, arrange marriages bla,bla bla…!!!
imagine those kind of pathetic and cheap personality sitting in parliament and running the country's law making process ,
and plz. ask yourself how many like this poor guy are in our parliament…???
