Needs of Sindh to be taken up in CCI: Qaim

KARACHI - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Thursday said that problems and needs of Sindh province will be fully projected before the Council of Common Interest (CCI). He said this while chairing a preparatory meeting regarding issues and problems to be discussed in the CCI held at the CM House here, said a statement.
The CM said that efforts will be made to get relief on certain important issues and obtain proper and effective decisions.
The meeting discussed matters pertaining to NEPRA, Thar Coal Project, infrastructure development, Harmonization of Agriculture Income Tax Policy in Provinces, distribution of Zakat funds and other issues were discussed in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Sindh Raja Muhammad Abbas, Principal Secretary to CM Muhammad Siddique Memon, Secretary Finance Naveed Kamran Baloch, Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination, Kaleemullah Lashari, Secretary I and C, Aijaz Ali Khan, Secretary Power Mrs Rabia Javeria Agha and others.
