Women police

The police system in Pakistan is still working with a command and control model where the males are dominating the overall structure. It needs serious attention in order to accommodate women. The present structure of police department is not providing a level playing field where women can be injected in this department, and the women that are already a part of this department are not being properly empowered. This lack of empowerment is a great hurdle for women police officers. We have to strengthen our women police by giving them proper trainings. It is very much important to bring women police officers in the mainstream so that they can be in a better position.
Despite all these mounting challenges, women officers are still outperforming their counterparts with good results. They will also have a positive impact on our society. By empowering women police officers, we will be in a better position to indentify different problems related with our women and will solve them in a proper way.
