Burnt dead body recovered, several miscreants held

KARACHI - Karachi violence continued unabated as a tortured dead body of a youth was found from Gadani area on Tuesday, officials said.
According to police, the body of an unidentified youth was found. Police suspected that the youth was kidnapped and then murdered. The killers also burnt his body so that he could not be identified.
On the other hand, Mubina Town and New Karachi police arrested several miscreants and recovered weapons from them.
The sources said that Mubina Town police arrested a dacoit in an encounter that occurred at Abul Hasan Ispahani Road.
Police also arrested a suspect Faizan from New Karachi who was involved in several incidents of street crimes. Police also said the other two dacoits remained successful in escaping.
59 criminals arrested: Karachi police has arrested 59 accused including 36 proclaimed offenders in different search operations to stop the criminal activities during last 24 hours.
In view of the ever deteriorating law and order situation, Karachi police launched different operations in east, west, west Malir and police stations of central districts and arrested 59 criminals involved in criminal activities including 36 proclaimed offenders through snap checking, patrolling, raid, and targeted action.
