Imran honoured by UK medical school for efforts against cancer

LONDON - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been awarded an honorary fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) in recognition for his contribution to cancer treatment. The honorary fellowship recognises his services to healthcare in Pakistan and overseas, and in particular, his enormous contribution to cancer treatment by establishing the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Pakistan. Imran Khan founded the Shaukat Khanum Hospital on December 29, 1994.
