Unscheduled power cuts in Ramadan taken to court

LAHORE - The unscheduled long power cuts during times of sehri and iftar have been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
The petitioner on Saturday asked the court to get the complete load shedding schedule from the department concerned. The petitioner informed the court that the long hours of load shedding during sehri and iftar has greatly disturbed the masses.
He asked the court to direct the department concerned to ensure smooth flow of electricity during Ramadan. He added that the Punjab government was bickering with the federal government while ignoring problems faced by masses.
