US Congress pushes for Haqqani Network terrorist label

US CONGRESS

The United States Congress has stepped up pressure on the Obama administration to declare Haqqani Network a terrorist organization.
The US Senate also approved a bill on Thursday which requires the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to report in 30 days whether the network meets the criteria to be designated as a foreign terrorist organization.
The bill will be forwarded for approval to US President Barak Obama.
It is pertinent to mention that the bill was approved by the House of Represenatives on July 18.

3 Responses to US Congress pushes for Haqqani Network terrorist label

  1. Has the US killed more civilians or the haqqani network ?

  2. Tashfeen Masood Qayyum via Facebook says:

    Other way round fhs

  3. PTBP says:

Off course Haqqani network has killed more people because definition of people implies on human beings and only human beings living on this earth are Americans and Europeans those are being killed in Afghanistan with utter ruthlessness by Haqqani Network. The killings done by america are not of human beings they belong to a breed called Manimals. This breed is somewhere between Animals and humans. Anyhow my perception is America will not declare Haqqanis a terrorist network.
