Malik discusses domestic political situation with Altaf
LONDON - Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior, Rehman Malik, on Wednesday, called on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in London office and discussed issues regarding the current affairs and overall domestic political satiation.
During the meeting, Rehman Malik conveyed President Asif Ali Zardari’s special message to Altaf Hussain.
The sources quoted Rehman Malik as saying that PPP, along with MQM and its other allies, would continue to foil all the bids against the democracy.
He said that some elements were trying to instigate turbulence in Sindh.
He praised Altaf Hussain for playing exemplary role for the stability of democracy and welfare of the state, while MQM leader congratulated Malik on his election as Senator.
