LAHORE - Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that various sectors of the economy including agriculture are on verge of destruction because of the discriminatory mindset of the federal government towards Punjab.
Talking to various delegations at his tent office at Green Town on Monday, Shahbaz said that Punjab conributes a major portion to the overall economy of the country but still it is forced to face prolonged and unscheduled blackouts which is clearly an injustice.
He said the country of Quaid and Iqbal has been made personal property by Ali Baba and the 40 thieves by plundering it with both hands.
He said that loadshedding at sehr, iftar and taraveeh prayers is condemnable.
He added that tent offices set up at various localities of the city were aimed at jolting the consciences of the ruling party which had turned deaf ears towards masses' sufferings.
