DHA Sports Club brings exciting cricket in Ramadan
Karachi - DHA Sports Club, in an attempt to captivate the hearts of cricket lovers, has collaborated with Advance Telecom, to organize yet another thrilling Night-Cricket Tournament, called the “Advance Telecom 2nd Corporate T20 Cup 2012”. DHA Sports Club is a professional coaching facility, for cricket, squash and swimming enthusiasts. It features a flood-lit stadium and a fully equipped Gymnasium in Karachi. Numerous cricket teams from the country and its corporate sector, along with various media partners, will be engaged in this event. The tournament will commence on July 28 and ends on August 11. The spectators and participants can enjoy numerous facilities like comfortable seating arrangements, snacks and musical entertainment, as the teams compete in brightly colored uniforms on a Flood-Lit Arena. Famous players, celebrities, prominent social personalities and renowned companies have already confirmed their participation in this event. A “Man of the Match” award will be presented at the end of every match. Other high-valued cash prizes will also be distributed at the end of the tournament. Advance Telecom’s Head of Marketing - Mr. Rehan Shaikh said, “Advance Telecom is committed to the development of the Pakistani nation and the telecom sector.” Moin Khan, CEO of Moin Khan Academy, DHA Sports Club said, “Such energetic events help in developing and expanding the local cricket clubs and encourage fitness activities among the youth. Fresh resources are thus created for coaching and training of regional and corporate sector teams. The corporate sector, media enterprises and celebrities should continue to support and nurture sports activities”. Participating teams in the contest will include; Advance Telecom, Habib Bank, United Bank, National Bank of Pakistan, State Bank of Pakistan, Candyland, Port Qasim, and Omar Associates.
