Govt victimizing Punjab: Shahbaz

SHAHBAZ SHARIF

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that prolonged and unscheduled power outages have made the life miserable for the people of the province.
Shahbaz added that the federal government was victimising public over political differences with Punjab government.
Talking to the members of the various delegations from different areas of the province here at Minar-e-Pakistan tent office, Shahbaz Sharif said the government had no concern with the sufferings of people and national interests and added that all its concentration was at protecting personal and party interests and to prolong its rule.
He said the profit of the power generation companies in Punjab was being spent to cover the deficit of power companies of other provinces.
He said further that provincial government had prepared the strategy to grant proprietary rights to the people in Kacchi Abbadis across Punjab.
He also chaired a meeting of Lahore Ring Road Authority that decided to construct two under passes at Karol Ghatti and Pahni Road.
