Police rescue woman, recover her kid
KARACHI - Police rescued a woman, who escaping from the kidnappers had taken refuge at the third floor of a building at Badar Commercial area of Defence on Sunday here.
Police said to have received an information initially that a woman with the intention of committing suicide had climbed on the third floor terrace of a building. Darakhshan police besides the staff of the Defence authority reaching the scene rescued the woman by cutting the grill.
The woman talking to the media said that she had been kidnapped and assaulted for the whole night by a person. She said escaping from him she had climbed to the terrace, but the kidnapper had taken away her child.
Later, Darakhshan police took the woman for further investigation. The police have have also recovered her child.
