‘Pakistan for resolving disputes with India’

CAMBODIA-ASEAN-SUMMIT

PHNOM PENH - Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar Thursday said Pakistan is willing to resolve all disputes including Sir Creek and Siachen with India.
"If you look at may be some of the disputes that we have. We have Sir Creek, we have Siachen...Pakistan has already made it clear that we are willing to go by the agreement that we had in the past," the Foreign Minister told an Indian news agency in an interview. Hina Rabbani Khar is in the Cambodian capital to attend the ASEAN Ministerial meeting.
She said the two countries must move forward in the relationship and "moving forward would require that we all are able to sometimes show flexibility sometimes we don't need to show flexibility."
When asked whether Pakistan was disappointed that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has not yet decided to visit Pakistan despite invitation, Rabbani Khar said "I do not believe in the business of being disappointed. I believe in optimism and I believe that we still would like to host him."
"We welcome him to Pakistan and we hope that within his tenure (he is able to visit Pakistan)."
"As I said, for me I look at it as a lost opportunity because there were two prime ministers who got along awfully well, who were able to set the course of a different dimension within this relationship,"
"So one of them is a former Prime Minister now. So we hope that more opportunities will not be lost." she said.

The core should be resolved first, i.e. Kashmir issue

Absolutely, and the solution is Pakistan hands over PoK to India and also, Pakistan tells China to vacate areas of state of J&K that it illegally gave to China.

  3. How can you resolve disputes with a country that has never reconciled with the partition of ‘their’ Akhand Bharat ?

  5. So theres nothing you’ll trust your politicians with unless it has to do with India? Ever wondered how unreasonable this sounds…

Young and inexperienced people must not touch sensitive jobs. Indian Foreign Minster was a member of the Parliament when she was not born even.

With Baghwan's ahsa Pakistan will see better people in key positions. My parathna to Prabhu is that we have a stable and an intelligent government in Pakistan. This I feel is a few years away still.

Prabhu said, this would be done by the time of your next reincarnation, so that you can get a fresh start. So don't get misguided by any virgin dream in-between …

Ms khar we were fed this Mantra while we were studying in school now we are about to say good bye to this world. things have remained the same. faces have changed and will continue to change. we are still pondering if we can favour witih Most fvoured Nation status to India how long we will take to come to an end ? are we really serious ? we have a market next door with 1 billion and GDP of 9% and purchsing power far superior then we can even imagine then why we are not grabbing this market and increase our exports ?
whom are we waiting for ? I think we have expertise in misguging our people for vested interests.

She's pretty. Older men like youger women. If she can just sacrifice a little for the country, we can have a lot better relationship with India and Pakistan may even their way on some of the things. Instead of jiayals lining up outside her bedroom door, I'd rather see other foreign ministers lined up.
