Flooding inundates 50 villages in Dadu

DADU FLOODS

DADU - At least fifty villages were submerged under water in Dadu district as water flow in Gaaj river increased on Wednesday forcing the residents to search safer shelters.
Water running down from different areas of Balochistan due to heavy rain caused the flooding, irrigation officials said.
Locals said flood waters have not only affected their hamlets but thousands of acres of crops have also been destroyed. Road links to several areas have also been affected.
