Pakistan, Sudan enjoy cordial relations: Badar

ISLAMABAD - Leader of the House in the Senate Senator Jahangir Badar Tuesday said that Pakistan and Sudan, being brotherly countries, enjoy close and cordial relations.
While interacting with Sudanese Ambassador Al-Shafie Ahmed Mohamed here at the Parliament, Badar recalled his meeting with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir during his visit to Sudan and declared him as a change agent for current progressive Sudan and appreciated that there were a large number of women parliamentarians in Sudan’s Parliament.
Badar said that exchange of parliamentary delegations and more frequent people-to-people contacts can further cement bilateral ties. Senator Rubina Khalid who was also present on the occasion told the ambassador regarding proactive role of women in the national and provincial politics of Pakistan and how they were striving for change for betterment and towards a positive and progressive Pakistani nation.
